Wind River Gear is an outdoor store located in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming. We are open year-round and cater to the outdoor enthusiast that is looking for the best in apparel and gear in order to enjoy their outdoor experience. Our area offers some of the best in hiking, backpacking, fly fishing, camping, wildlife viewing, photography, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing to be found anywhere. Wind River Gear Shop carries outdoor clothing and footwear, fly fishing gear, an extensive selection of local maps and topos, books, tents, sleeping bags, camping equipment, gear for snow sports and paddle sports, optics, sunglasses, campfood, backpacks, equipment care, and more. And while our store is a full-service, get-you-outfitted place to shop, we have decided to focus our website on our unique selection of local and regional books, field guides, maps and topos. It is the best selection available through a convenient one-stop shopping experience. Topos of the Wind River Mountains? Got ‘em.
